A look back at the last three years of combating violence against women in North Africa
From June 16 to 19, the BATIK International team and its partners from Tunisia, Association Beity and Morocco, Fédération des Ligues des Droits des Femmes - Bureau Régional de Rabat, and INSAF associationjoined forces to take stock of the last three years of fighting violence against women and children in North Africa
.
On this occasion, partners shared best practices, identified successes and challenges, and prepared for the project's next steps.
Inspiring tours of the INSAF association have taken place and have enabled the development of support systems for single mothers and their children: with their multi-disciplinary approach (legal, socio-economic, psychological, medical, vocational training, job creation, etc.), they represent a real vanguard in the field of social integration....), they are a real lever for drawing inspiration from them and thinking about their implementation elsewhere.
? The rich exchanges between partners and the evaluation carried out by a team of experts commissioned for the occasion enabled us to identify clear challenges and areas of work for the future, for each of the partners as well as for the collective!
The partners want the next stage to be even more ambitious, to fight even more effectively against violence against women and children, and to build fairer and safer societies for all ?
