Paris, April 7, 2025 - On the occasion of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), an advocacy report was published supporting women's rights and combating violence against women and their children.
The regional seminar was organized by BATIK International from April 28 to 30, 2025 in Casablanca as part of the Ajyal Equality project funded by Expertise France. It aims at strengthening political sisterhood and promoting common claims in favor of women's rights. Over three days, activists and feminist organizations from the MENA region, alongside international experts, will come together to refine their advocacy strategies, share their experiences, and strengthen their capacity to act in the face of current challenges.
A feminist alliance has been formed to fight violence against women and their children in the Maghreb.
To guarantee women's safety, security and dignity, the alliance has carried out advocacy work to draw up recommendations, which can be found in the advocacy report below (French Version).

This work has been compiled in this collection in the form of fact sheets that outline the different stages of providing support to women. They highlight the community-based approach taken by women leaders in Egypt, as well as the welcoming and active listening practices of all the partner associations.

BATIK International has been working for several years in the 13th arrondissement of Paris to combat the isolation of seniors, particularly those from Asian immigrant backgrounds, who are more vulnerable and at greater risk of loneliness.
In 2021, we went to meet them in order to hear their stories and to better understand their needs. Their words are compiled in the 2022 edition of the collection of testimonials Paroles d'Asie (Words from Asia).

This document presents opportunities for integrating refugees into rural areas through agriculture in Calavados, Loire-Atlantique and Manche. In addition to studying non-profit and agricultural dynamics, it also provided an opportunity to further develop ideas for the Migr'Action project, find partners and launch the first activities.

It provides a methodology and theoretical references for initiating a consultation, as well as practical feedback from the field and advice for successful consultation.
The 13'Sâges project aims to facilitate networking among Parisian actors who support migrant populations. As part of this project, profile sheets have been created for both the people receiving support and the support providers themselves. The aim is to raise awareness of the situation of the people receiving support and to better understand their needs, to highlight the diversity of the profiles and backgrounds of the people being welcomed and supported, to promote the practices of those providing support, and to illustrate these practices through testimonials.
